ON THE BUILD

For about two years we have been building a cool custom car a 1978 Toyota Celica Mustang Back. Who would have known that finding a Classic Celica with out rust was an impossible challenge but when David from Sleeka Spares contacted me about a RA28 Celica shell was found in a garage sitting under a canvas sheet for 20years with no rust and brand new panels sitting with it, “I was keen as mustard”. What better Celica shell to start with. Bluewire 2 will be custom made with a full steel construction & to a high show car level, at this stage we are fitting a flat floor layout with custom made suicide doors, air bag suspension, Rod style wish bone suspension thanks to RODTECH, also remaking a steel custom dash and that’s just a start. We will custom rebuild the celica with out changing its style & Mustang back appearance.
